A human adult or animal is a creature that has developed to its full potential. Adult is a term employed in relation to humans to mean social and legal concepts. As opposed to "minor" (or "non-adult" legally-aged adult refers to a person who is a majority. They are regarded as responsible, independent and capable. They may also be regarded as an "major". 18 years is considered the legal adult age, however, this definition may differ by country, legal rights or mental development.

Human development is the time in which full physical and mental maturation has been achieved. It usually starts when a person reaches an age that is 21. The age of old is 60 years old after middle the age of 60. There are three main stages of adulthood early adulthood (18 until mid-30s), middle adulthood (mid-30s until mid-60s) as well as late adulthood (mid-60s up to the point of death). As we enter early adulthood the body is at the fullest physical maturation. Yet, our height and our weight can increase. In the early years of adulthood, we are physically peaking. The strength of our muscles, the response time, sensoriac ability as well as cardiac function, all hit their highest levels.
